The Next Ichiban Orlando Tweetup...?

It is time again for us to host another Tweetup. We have done a weekday lunch, we have done Twesitval, and we even hosted the official Orlando Tweetup. Next on our list is yet another internally hosted Tweetup, but we need your help figuring out the details.

First of all, when should we do it? Right now, we are entertaining the grand idea to have it on Wednesday, May 13th at 6:00 or 7:00pm. This date will cater to our friends at Axis Magazine and double as the "unofficial kickoff to Florida Music Festival" (starting the next day).

With that said, however, we have the entire month of May to toy with. What is ideal for you? Do you prefer it be during the day or night? Remember, nighttime endorses more sake bombs. Weekday vs. weekend?

In order to narrow the selections down, we will throw out a handful of suggestions. All you have to do is vote on when we should have it:

a) Wednesday, May 13th at 6:00/7:00pm
b) Wednesday, May 13th at 1:00pm (lunch)
c) Thursday, May 21st at 6:00/7:00pm
d) Friday, May 22nd at 6:00pm
e) Saturday, May 23rd ALL DAY (come in anytime)

We want to continue interacting with our customers. In our restaurant, it can be hard to collect the feedback we need to keep modifying and improving our facilities, operations and menu. While we are on Twitter and try to listen to what everyone is saying about us throughout all of our networks online, not everybody leaves the detailed feedback we require. Make Your Own Roll at Ichiban!

After asking a few of our customers what kind of rolls they would like to see on our menu, we were bombarded with a ton of great recommendations. Some of them were so good that it made us consider adding them to our menu.

Instead of doing that, however, we are launching a new initiative in our restaurant. For every customer, any time and day, you can CREATE YOUR OWN ROLL. No restrictions apply! If you want salmon, cream cheese, udon noodles, and asparagus, you can have it. If you want tuna, salmon, whitefish, and octopus all in one roll, go for it! No need to hold you back.


This is our chance to show Orlando how creative our community really is. No other sushi restaurant allows their guests to be as imaginative as they want to be. But why not? You want what you want. Why shouldn't we make it for?

Ready for the best part? If you order your signature sushi creation during 10 different dine-in visits, it is yours! When we print new menus, your invention may appear on it as a featured roll under the name that you desire. If that isn't incentive enough to come in and have anything you want, I don't know what is.
