Sushi Burritos?

What happens when you mash together the monstrosity of a burrito with the delicacy and freshness of sushi? You get a sushi burrito - the latest craze in the food truck trend. Pioneered by Jogasaki Food Truck in Los Angeles.

Jogasaki has seen immediate success for their new product offering. They have grown so much so quickly, in fact, that they have landed on the Food Network's "The Great Food Truck Race." Voting has started and we suggest you vote for them here.

So, what is a sushi burrito? Allow the Jogasaki website to explain:

A Sushi Burrito basically puts sushi roll ingredients together, and wraps them in a flour tortilla or soy paper. The end result: a jumbo size sushi roll bigger than any sushi roll in a regular sushi restaurant. And on top of that, with a street price.

The next time you're in the Los Angeles area, we suggest giving the sushi burrito a try. Just follow them on Twitter, track where they are, and hunt them down. The experience alone will be well worth it.
